2019 Zenvo TS1 GT review

Overview:

2019 Zenvo TS1 GT

Everything at a car show looks so good you’ll want to snap it all up. But the supersonic types get the most attention. As with a recent show, Bugatti introduced the La Voiture Noire that certainly made soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo spend $1.3 million to buy this car. Well, that often happens at the auto shows.

The one we have here today is the Zenvo TS1 GT. It’s another hypercar that ranks among the fastest cars in the world. But it’s not as fast as most of its competitors. While it looks angrier than its rivals.

Before the TS1 GT, Zenvo ran the ST1. That was even an angry guy and it stayed in service for a good 7 years. But they were filled with a lot of trouble for the company. And the most common problem was the fire, since the ST1’s cooling system normally didn’t cool the car and it caught fire as a result.

Well, the TS1 GT shares most of its structure with its late aunt. And let’s hope it doesn’t burn. Also, the TS1 GT was unveiled during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. He attracted a lot of people, but none of them made the bold decision to buy one of them locally.

Before that, the Zenvo will produce 15 of these, and the production run would be 5 units each year. There is no official statement about the price. $1.2 million has been raised so far.

Perfomance:

Bonnet of the Zenvo TS1 GT 2019

The TS1 GT gets a 5.8-liter, twin-supercharger V8 engine that produces 1,104 horsepower and 840 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, the Zenvo has the engine mounted in the center of the car, giving it a precise center of gravity. Before that, the TS1 GT gets a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Also, the Torsen limited-slip differential is installed in this car for better handling.

Well, according to Zenvo, the TS1 GT could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds. Thanks to the professional test team who lapped the TS1 GT in 2.9 seconds. That’s certainly faster than its predecessor, the ST1, which had a larger engine and similar performance. The company’s advertised top speed is 233 mph (electronically limited).

The suspension gets double wishbones front and rear with anti-roll bars and adjustable shock absorbers. In addition, a hydraulic lift is installed at the front, which raises the vehicle for additional ground clearance.

In some ways, the TS1 GT is very similar to its predecessor. However, numerous changes have been made in the achievement mechanism. But it produces only a small difference in performance. Certainly the TS1 GT lacks performance compared to the ST1’s rivals, as there’s nothing much better in this car. While there is only the loud sound of the double-supercharged V8, which might draw viewers more to watch. But the way it runs is very attractive.

Outside:

2019 Zenvo TS1 GT exterior

There are very few differences that make the TS1 GT look different from the ST1. Either front or back, everything is pretty much the same. Well, the front end makes an angry impression with its mouth open and its antennae raised. But if the exterior is painted in contrast, the look will be much better. Well, that’s a coupe that’s made out of carbon fiber and weighs 3,483 pounds. While the chassis gets steel and aluminum. In addition, the TS1 GT gets a pair of tri-projector headlights, LED DRLs, 19-inch front and 20-inch rear alloy wheels. In addition, the aerodynamic application is pretty much perfect, allowing the car to make the most use of its body.

Interior of the Zenvo TS1 GT 2019

The Zenvo didn’t just use carbon fiber on the exterior, instead the interior even gets a handful of carbon fiber. The console and accent get the carbon fiber combined with the Alcantara leather. Even the seats get plenty of carbon fiber on them. In addition, the TS1 GT offers space for 2 people, while your glove box is the most practical place in this car. And for the luggage there is a compartment available at the front.

Security:

2019 Zenvo TS1 GT Safety

The very basic safety components, the airbags and the adjustable belts are included in this car. While the TS1 GT shies away from other safety features. Also, the only thing you get is cruise control. And that is very unpopular as a security feature.

Thanks to Zenvo for adding an anti-theft alarm system to this car!

Competitors:

Pagani Huayra

The TS1 GT hardly gets a perfect match. If you start looking for a perfect competitor for this car, you might not find it because they’re either more powerful than the TS1 GT or smarter. While we got the Pagani Huayra from one of our previous tests, we found that it has 238 mph as its top speed. And it can rock 62 mph in 2.8 seconds. But! Huayra only has 720 hp! Isn’t that smart?
